Reading Options

The UnTextbook has so many choices, it is amazing!  Looking through it, I found so many different units that sounded really interesting.  I really like fairy tales and the stories that played huge roles in a culture.

I liked the idea of reading nursery rhymes.  They can be all fun and games, but nursery rhymes can also tell stories of important events.  The rhyming makes them enjoyable to read.

Since I have Cherokee ancestry, I want to read some of the Cherokee Myths offered in the UnTextbook.  My family history is important to me, and through the reading of myths, I hope to gain a connection with the past.

Because I love fairy tales, I chose Celtic Fairy Tales since it sounded interesting.  The story that sounds most exciting is the ghost story of The Horned Women.
